Ashley Malmquist of Framingham State repeats as MASCAC Field Hockey Offensive Player and Rookie of the Week while teammate Corinne Lawson earns Defensive Player of the Week after leading the Rams to two wins last week.

Offensive Player and Rookie of the Week
Ashley Malmquist, Framingham State
Freshman, Midfield, Medfield, Mass.

Malmquist netted four goals and two assists for 10 points in a 2-1 week for the Rams. Netted two goals and an assist in the 5-0 win over Bridgewater State. Tallied a goal and assist in the 2-1 overtime win over WestConn and added another score in the 4-3 overtime setback to Plymouth State.

Defensive Player of the Week
Corinne Lawson, Framingham State
Senior, Defense, Columbia, Md.

Lawson finished with two defensive saves in the 4-3 setback to Plymouth State. Made key block tackles multiple times during the 2-1 overtime victory over WestConn. Had offensive pushes lead defense during 5-0 shutout win against Bridgewater State.
