Framingham State's Fisher Tabbed As Little East Field Hockey Rookie Of The Week
Framingham State freshman forward Erica Fisher earned the nod as the Little East Field Hockey Freshman of the Week on Monday afternoon after notching a pair of goals and an assist for five points in a pair of victories for the Rams last week

Framingham, Mass. - Junior forward Kristen Sacco (Mendon, Mass.) was tabbed as the Little East Conference (LEC) Offensive Player of the Week and freshman forward Erica Fisher (Putnam Valley, N.Y.) was selected the LEC Rookie of the Week for the week ending September 27th as announced by the Little East Conference this afternoon.
Sacco scored a total of three goals in a 2-0 week for the Rams. She scored a pair of goals in an 8-0 road win at Gordon on Tuesday and extended her goal scoring streak to six games with the Rams first tally in a 3-1 win at Worcester State. She gathered her own rebound and knocked it home for the game winner and her 10th of the season. She is currently ranked second in the conference in points and goals and is first in points per game.
Fisher earns her first LEC Rookie of the Week honors as she picked up two goals and an assist this week. She scored the game winner and provided an insurance goal in the Rams win at Worcester that lifted the Rams to 3-0 in LEC action. Against Gordon, she picked up a single assist. She is among the top ten in the conference in points, points per game and goals.
