Westfield State's Matt Fall has been selected the defensive player of the week in the 16-team New England Football Conference (NEFC)

The 6-4, 305-pound defensive tackle from Wilbraham, Mass., posted a career-high 14 tackles in the Owls' 13-7 NEFC Bogan Division victory over Massashusetts Maritime.

Fall had seven solo tackles and three tackles for losses, including two sacks, in leading the Westfield defense.
