Engel made a game-high 13 tackles, including six solo stops, and recovered a third quarter fumble that helped PSU rally past Bridgewater State, 17-14, on Saturday. Engel was all over the field early, making five tackles in the first quarter alone, but his key play came with PSU trailing 14-3 early in the third quarter. Engel jumped on a loose ball at the PSU 36-yard line and the Panthers found the end zone on the ensuing drive to spark the comeback. |

Matthews had another outstanding effort this week on special teams in a 58-13 win over Framingham State on Friday. Tied at 7-all in the first quarter, he returned a kickoff 74 yards for the touchdown to give the Corsairs a lead they would not relinquish in the game.
