Couch rushed for a season-high 165 yards and two touchdowns on 30 carries in the Bears’ 21-17 comeback win over Western Connecticut State University. Scored on TD runs of one and three yards. Rushed for 43 yards on the game-winning drive late in the fourth quarter..

Defensive Player of the Week |

Onujiogu made nine tackles including six solo stops with five for a loss of 26 yards and 1.5 sacks for 12 yards in the Rams’ 41-6 win over Westfield State. Also added an interception that he returned 47 yards setting up a score.

Special Teams Player of the Week |

Longwater blocked two punts with the second leading to a touchdown in the Buccaneers 28-0 win over Fitchburg State.

Rookie of the Week |
|
Jean finished with 10 rushes for 137 yards (average of 13.7 per carry), including a 62-yard touchdown run in the Corsairs’ 52-7 win over Worcester State.
