MASCAC Football Players of the Week 10/26

Although the MASCAC isn't having fall contests this semester, the conference still wants to recognize the great success of our fall student-athletes. Each week, the MASCAC will honor a champion from the 2019 championship season as MASCAC Players of the Week brought to you by GEICO.

Although the MASCAC isn't having fall contests this semester, the conference still wants to recognize the great success of our fall student-athletes. Each week, the MASCAC will honor a champion from the 2019 championship season as MASCAC Players of the Week brought to you by GEICO.

Our honorees for this week are from the gridiron. The 2019 MASCAC Football Regular Season Champions from Framingham State were a perfect 8-0 in league action to earn their ninth conference title in the last 10 years. With the title, the Rams punched their ticket to the NCAA Tournament and a date with Wesley.

Joshua Onujiogu earned 2019 MASCAC Defensive Player of the Year honors while teammates Andrew Fennelly and Devaun Ford were named the MASCAC Offensive Lineman and Offensive Rookie of the Year, respectively.

Dwayne Hunter-Parker, Anthony Behonick, Joshua Smiley, Adam Wojenski and Jacob Maher joined Onujiogu, Fennelly and Ford as members of the MASCAC First Team All-Conference squad while Cully Curran was named to the All-MASCAC second team defense.
