Vinny Eramo of Fitchburg State, Anthony Panza of Framingham State and Nolan DeAndrade of Bridgewater State claim the MASCAC Baseball Player, Pitcher and Rookie of the Week after leading their teams to important conference wins last week.

Player of the Week |
Eramo batted .500 (10-of-20) with three home runs, five runs scored, 10 RBI and three walks in a 3-2 week for the Falcons. Went a combined 4-of-6 with a home run, one run scored, three walks and two RBI in a doubleheader split with Worcester State on Tuesday before going adding one hit, including a home runs, one run scored and two RBI in a 14-9 triumph over MCLA on Thursday. Concluded the week, hitting 5-for-6 with three runs scored, one home run, and six RBI in a 15-4, game two victory over MCLA on Friday, while setting the Falcons Program record for career RBI with 119 on Friday. |
Pitcher of the Week |
Panza made three appearances on the week earning a victory and a pair of saves. Earned the save in the Rams’ 4-3 win over Salem State, going three scoreless innings allowing just two hits with three strikeouts. Earned the victory in relief in the 5-4 win over Westfield State, going an 1.2 innings, allowing no runs on no hits with four strikeouts as the Rams came from behind to earn the win. Closed the week tossing an inning of scoreless relief in the 5-3 win over Westfield State, allowing just one hit. |
Rookie of the Week |
DeAndrade batted .364 (4-11) in four games for the Bears last week with a pair of home runs, a walk, three runs and five RBI plus a .909 slugging percentage. Went 2-for-3 with a grand slam and a solo home run to go along with a walk in a 9-6 MASCAC win over Mass. Maritime. Also went 2-for-8 with a run scored in a three-game MASCAC sweep of Worcester State. |
