Five MASCAC Student-Athletes Named to D3baseball.com All-Region Teams
Scott Emerson, Matthew Seavey and Jay Wladkowski of Bridgewater State, Brodey Tinkham of Massachusetts Maritime and Jake Boucher of Salem State were named to the d3baseball.com All-Region Two teams as announced by the organization.

Salem State's Boucher earned a spot on the first team, Mass. Maritime's Tinkham on second team while Seavey, Wladkowski and Emerson were each named as third team honorees on the D3baseball.com All-Region Two Team.
Emerson batted .353 (59-167) in 45 games during his rookie campaign with eight doubles, a triple, 19 walks, 31 stolen bases, 45 runs scored and 32 RBI. The Peabody, Massachusetts native led the MASCAC in stolen bases and equaled Wladkowski for the conference lead in games played. Emerson also ranked second among the MASCAC leaders in hits and at bats, third in runs, seventh in total bases (69), and tied for seventh in runs batted in, walks and sacrifice flies (3).
Seavey went 7-3 in 2022 with one complete game and a shutout in 11 appearances on the mound including 11 starts. The North Attleboro, Massachusetts product produced a 1.89 earned run average and fanned 62 batters over 66 2/3 innings of work, while opponents batted just .170 against him. Seavey, who also sported a 0.99 WHIP (walks & hits per innings pitched) and allowed just 5.54 hits per nine innings pitched. Seavey led the MASCAC in hits allowed per nine innings pitched and tied for the conference lead in games started. He also ranked second among the MASCAC leaders in WHIP, tied for second in wins, tied for third in strikeouts, and was fourth in ERA as well as fifth in innings pitched.
Wladkowski batted .391 (66-169) with a home run, 16 doubles, 21 stolen bases, 21 walks, 46 runs scored, and 46 RBI over 45 games. The Norwood, Massachusetts product led the MASCAC in hits, runs batted in, at bats, doubles and games played. He also ranked second in runs, third in batting average and stolen bases, fourth in total bases (87), fifth in on base percentage (.458), sixth in walks and tenth in slugging percentage (.515).
Tinkham finished the 2022 season with a 7-3 record in 12 appearances, including 11 starts, with a 1.76 ERA. He was second in the league in wins and third in the league in ERA. In 71.2 innings pitched he struck out 49 hitters allowing 59 hits, 19 walks and only 14 earned runs. In conference play, Brodey went 4-1 with four complete games. In 33 innings he struck out 34 hitters and posted a 1.64 ERA with 9.27 strikeouts per nine innings. Brodey is the first Buccaneers pitcher to receive D3Baseball.com All-Region honors.
