Brett Velzis of Massachusetts Maritime and Ben Smith of Worcester State take home the MASCAC Baseball Player, Rookie and Pitcher of the Week accolades after coming out victorious against their conference opponents over the Easter weekend.

Velzis batted .600 (6-10) with two doubles, a home run, seven RBI, seven runs scored, two walks, 1.100 slugging percentage and .692 on-base percentage in a 3-0 week for the Buccaneers. Went 6-for-7 with two doubles, a home run and five runs scored in the doubleheader sweep of Fitchburg State. Registered a hit with a walk and two runs scored in the 8-1 victory over Fitchburg State. |

| Smith threw 17 scoreless innings over the course of two MASCAC series. Threw a complete-game seven inning shutout against MCLA, earning the victory after striking out eight and giving up just four hits. He then went 10 innings of scoreless baseball against Westfield State in a game that the Lancers went on to win 3-2 in 12 innings. In that game, he struck out eight and allowed just five hits over ten scoreless innings. |
