Salem State's Fecteau Earns D3baseball.com Preseason All-America Honors
Salem State junior second baseman Richard Fecteau (Newbury, Mass.) has been named to the D3Baseball.com Preseason All-America Team in an announcement on Tuesday afternoon. Fecteau, the reigning MASCAC Player of the year was selected to the Honorable Mention Team, and is among just five New England players to be recognized.

Fecteau (Newbury, Mass.) has been named to the
D3Baseball.com Preseason All-America Team in an announcement on
Tuesday afternoon. Fecteau, the reigning MASCAC Player of the year
was selected to the Honorable Mention Team, and is among just five
New England players to be recognized.
Fecteau led the Vikings to a share of the Massachusetts State
Collegiate Athletic Conference regular season championship in
2014. The 2013 MASCAC Rookie of the Year, finished the regular
season batting .385, while leading the league in hits (60), runs
(45) and doubles (22). He also collected four triples and 26 RBI,
while also netting a .596 slugging percentage with seven stolen
bases. Fecteau was also a member of the American Baseball
Coaches Association/Rawlings NCAA Div. III All-Region, NEIBA,
ECAC and D3baseball.com All-New England teams last
season.
