Massachusetts Maritime's Sullo Headlines 2015 MASCAC Baseball All-Conference Team
Massachusetts Maritime utility player Logan Sullo has earned the 2015 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference Player and Rookie of the Year honors and headlines the all-conference squad as voted by the eight coaches from around the league.

Westfield, Mass. — Massachusetts Maritime utility player Logan Sullo has earned the 2015 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference Player and Rookie of the Year honors and headlines the all-conference squad as voted by the eight coaches from around the league.
Helping the Buccaneers to the top seed in the conference tournament and a share of the regular season title, Sullo earned both the MASCAC Player and Rookie of the honors. The freshman from Acushnet, Mass batted .484 (30-62) with seven doubles, six triples, a pair of home runs, 17 runs scored and 16 RBI and registered an .889 slugging percentage and a .573 on-base percentage to close out the regular season schedule.
Framingham State's Zack Kirby was named the 2015 MASCAC Pitcher of the Year after finishing out the regular season with the most strikeouts in the conference at 89, third in wins at five and third in ERA at 1.61 ERA. He also went the distance in five games and registed three shutouts on the year.
Bob Corradi has been named the 2015 Champion's Choice Coach of the Year for the fourth time in his career for the Buccaneers after helping to lead his squad to a share of the MASCAC regular season title and the first seed in the MASCAC Baseball Tournament.
Landing themselves on the MASCAC first team all-conference along with Sullo and Kirby are Fitchburg State's Brendan Cutler, Kyle Cutler and Steven Drury Jr., Framingham State's Billy Derosier, Massachusetts Maritime's Greg Downs and Bobby Rosano, Salem State's Richard Fecteau and Kevin Carens, Westfield State's Danny Dimatteo and Dan McCormack.
Finding a place on the MASCAC second team all-conference are Bridgewater State's Travis Ritchie, Framingham State's John Gill, Mark Mainini and Jordan Pallazola, MCLA's Chase Preite and Rory Slattery, Massachusetts Maritime's Kyle Kennedy and Kevin Kwedor, Westfield State's Tim Santilli and Worcester State's Adam Barry, Zach George and Dave Ruggiero.
The Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference, the nation's first Division III men's and women's playing conference, has a rich and storied tradition of competitive success while celebrating excellence in the classroom. MASCAC core member schools include Bridgewater State University, Fitchburg State University, Framingham State University, MCLA, Massachusetts Maritime Academy, Salem State University, Westfield State University and Worcester State University. Two other institutions, the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and Plymouth State University, are affiliate members of the conference in the sports of football and men's ice hockey, while Western Connecticut State University joined the conference as an affiliate member in football beginning in 2014.
