Bridgewater State's Sadoski Named NCBWA Division III Co-Pitcher of the Week
Bridgewater State University senior righthander Andy Sadoski has been selected as the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) Division III Co-Pitcher of the Week. Sadoski shares the weekly honor along with Brett Marcom of Southwestern University of Texas.

BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- Bridgewater State University senior righthander Andy Sadoski has been selected as the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) Division III Co-Pitcher of the Week. Sadoski shares the weekly honor along withBrett Marcom of Southwestern University of Texas.
Sadoski tossed his first career no-hitter in the Bears' season-opening 2-0 win over The Apprentice School in Vero Beach, Florida last week. The Harwich, Massachusetts native retired the side in order in six of seven innings giving up just a two-out walk in the fourth. He also fanned two in the game.
In 25 appearances including 17 starts over four seasons with the Bears, Sadoski is 13-5 with six complete games and two shutouts as well as a save. He has fanned 69 batters in 135 innings of work and has a career 3.07 earned run average.
The BSU baseball team is currently 2-4 on the young season. The Bears wrap up their season-opening trip to Vero Beach on Friday at 10:00 AM when they take on College of Saint Scholastica in a doubleheader.
Earlier this week, Sadoski was named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Pitcher of the Week and was selected to the D3baseball.com Team of the Week.
