Fitchburg State and Framingham State to Play in ECAC Baseball Tournament
Fitchburg State and Framingham State have earned a bid to the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III New England Baseball Championship. The tournament is an eight team field with a quarterfinal round on Wednesday, a semifinal round and a championship round on Saturday and Sunday.

The tournament is an eight team field with a quarterfinal round on Wednesday, a semifinal round and a championship round on Saturday and Sunday.
The Rams will travel to fourth seed Springfield College on Wednesday, May 7th, for a 3:30 p.m. game. The Pride went 20-15 during 2014 and fell to MIT in the NEWMAC Tournament's best-of-three series.
The seventh-seeded Falcons will be visiting the second-seeded Seahawks of Salve Regina University on Wednesday afternoon at 4 p.m. Salve Regina finished the year 25-14 and fell to Endicott in the Commonwealth Coast Conference Tournament.
Rounding out the tournament are top seed Roger Williams University (24-16) who will host eighth seed Becker College (20-17) on Wednesday and third seed Suffolk University (21-13) who travels to sixth seed Lasell College (18-13) also on Wednesday.
The winner of the Framingham/Springfield quarterfinal will meet the winner of the Roger Williams/Becker quarterfinal on Saturday, while the winner of the Fitchburg/Salve Regina game will meet the winner of the Suffolk/Lasell match-up in the other semifinal. The winners of the two semifinals will meet on Sunday for the championship.
