MASCAC Volleyball Weekly Awards 9/18
The Framingham State duo of Hailey Sanders and Natalie Reynolds claim the MASCAC Volleyball Offensive Player and Rookie of the Week accolades while Audrey Manning of Mass. Maritime takes home Defensive Player of the Week honors after non-league victories.

Sanders averaged 11.8 kills with a .347 hitting percentage plus five blocks and five digs in a 4-0 week for the Rams, including 12 kills in a 3-0 victory over St. Joseph’s and a combined 26 kills and four blocks in two wins over Colby-Sawyer. Finished with nine kills and a .421 hitting percentage in the 3-0 win over Curry. |
Defensive Player of the Week |
Manning recorded 82 digs (5.13 per set), 10 assists and two service aces in a 2-2 week for the Buccaneers, including a career-high 46 digs in a five set match against Fisher and added 19 in the 3-1 win over Curry during the week. In 70 receiving attempts she made just six errors on the week with none against Fisher and one each in wins over Curry and Lesley. |
Rookie of the Week |
Reynolds averaged 10.5 kills, 2.3 digs and two aces per match with a .449 hitting percentage in a 4-0 week for the Rams, including 11 kills in a 3-0 victory over St. Joseph’s and added 10 more in a three set win over Curry. Closed out the week with a combined 21 kills in two wins over Colby-Sawyer |
