MASCAC Volleyball Weekly Awards 11/13
After guiding the Rams to the MASCAC Tournament title, the Framingham State trio of Anna Szymanski, Carly Beaulieu and Natalie Reynolds are the MASCAC Volleyball Offensive, Defensive and Rookie of the Week.
Offensive Player of the Week |
Szymanski averaged 14 kills and 8.3 digs per match in a 3-0 week for the Rams to claim the MASCAC Tournament title and earn Tournament MVP honors. Collected 11 kills and five digs in the 3-0 quarterfinal win over Bridgewater State, 16 kills, five digs and three block assists in the five set semifinal win over Westfield State and 15 kills and 15 digs in the five set championship match win over MCLA.

Beaulieu averaged 17.7 digs per match with seven service aces in a 3-0 week on their way to the MASCAC Tournament title. Finished with 17 digs and three aces in the 3-0 win over Bridgewater State, 20 digs in the semifinal five set win over Westfield State and 16 digs plus three aces in the title game five set victory over MCLA. |
Rookie of the Week |
Reynolds averaged 11.3 kills per match with a .414 hitting percentage, 10 digs and nine total blocks in a 3-0 week for the Rams on their way to the MASCAC Tournament title. Had six kills, four digs and three solo blocks in the 3-0 win over Bridgewater State in the quarterfinals. Finished with 18 kills, four digs and two block assists in the five set semifinal win over Westfield State and 10 kills, four blocks (three solo) and two digs in the championship game five set win over MCLA. |
