Framingham State's Rackliffe Named MASCAC Volleyball Player of the Year, Headlines 2016 MASCAC Volleyball All-Conference Team
Alycia Rackliffe of Framingham State has been named the 2016 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference Volleyball Player of the Year and headlines the All-Conference team which is voted on by coaches from around the conference.

Westfield, Mass. — Alycia Rackliffe of Framingham State has been named the 2016 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference Volleyball Player of the Year and headlines the All-Conference team which is voted on by coaches from around the conference.
Earning her second straight MASCAC Player of the Year honor, the senior from Feeding Hills, Mass. had a strong final year with the Rams, leading them to a perfect 6-0 in conference play and top seed in the MASCAC Tournament. At the conclusion of the regular season, Rackliffe led the conference in kills per set (4.66), total kills (485), total blocks (96), solo blocks (29), block assists (67) and blocks per set (0.92) while also finishing third in hitting percentage (.269). In 2013, she was named the MASCAC Rookie of the Year and has been on the First Team All-Conference squad all four years.
Competing in her first season for Bridgewater State, Erin Clifford has been named the 2016 MASCAC Rookie of the Year. The sophomore from Hanson, Mass. finished the regular season second in the league with a .279 hitting percentage, third in solo blocks with 23, fifth in kills with 247, sixth in kills per set with 2.45 and seventh in total blocks with 48.
Richard Casali of Framingham State is the 2016 Champion’s Choice Volleyball Coach of the Year after leading the Rams to the MASCAC regular season title and the top spot in the tournament.
Joining Rackliffe on the All-Conference First Team are Hannah Maymon and Charleyne Panner of Bridgewater State, Allison Clark of MCLA, Jen Green and Lizzie Taylor of Westfield State and Emily Carens of Worcester State.
Earning a spot on the MASCAC Second Team All-Conference with Clifford are Cassidy Tyros of Bridgewater State, Vicki Anderson, Sarah Leonard and Julia Wan of Framingham State, Charleen Klangos of Massachusetts Maritime and Hannah Mullarkey of Salem State.
