MASCAC Women's Outdoor Track and Field Weekly Awards 4/30
After competing at the MASCAC Outdoor Championship, Jailene Escalera of Bridgewater State, Eliza Lee of Westfield State and Ciara Adu-Addo of Worcester State earn the MASCAC Women's Outdoor Track and Field weekly awards.

Escalera broke her own school record in the 100-meter dash and won a pair of individual titles this past weekend at the MASCAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships. Won the 100-meter crown with a time of 12.18 seconds as she eclipsed her previous BSU standard of 12.20 seconds set last season. Also placed first in the 200-meter dash with a time of 25.32 seconds. Helped the Bears place second at the conference championship meet. Currently ranks third in the East Region in both the 100 and 200. |
Women's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week
Eliza Lee, Westfield State
Sophomore, Walpole, Mass.
Lee won the 800 meters, was part of the Owls winning 4x100 and 4x400 relay teams, won the triple jump with a
PR leap of 11.02 meters and added a point with a sixth place finish in the long jump (5.02m). All together, Lee
accounted for 26 points - the Owls margin of victory over Bridgewater State in the meet to win the conference title.
