Victoria McDonough from Bridgewater State and Julia Miele from Fitchburg State were named the MASCAC Women's Lacrosse Player and Rookie of the Week brought to you by GEICO.

Victoria McDonough Tallied six goals and seven assists for 13 points to go along with five ground balls, 14 draw controls and a pair of caused turnovers in two games for the Bears last week at SpringFling 2019 in Englewood, Fla. Notched four goals and three assists as well as four ground balls, a career-high 12 draws, and a caused turnover in a 19-8 win over Eastern Connecticut. Recorded two goals, four assists, a ground ball, two draws and a caused turnover in a 10-9 setback to Nazareth. Registered her 100th career assist in the loss to Nazareth. |

Julia Miele Posted five points on four goals and one assist, while also winning seven draw controls and six groundballs in three contests for the Falcons. Registered one goal and two draw controls in a 15-5 setback to Carroll on Monday before adding two scores and one draw control in a setback to SUNY Canton on Tuesday. Finished the week with one goal, one assist, six groundballs and four draw controls in a setback to Smith on Thursday at the Spring Fling Games in Englewood, Fla. |
