The Bridgewater State trio of Jacob DeAndrade, Corey Stalters and Chigozie Adigwe claim the MASCAC Men's Outdoor Track and Field weekly honors after competing at the DIII New England Championships over the weekend.

DeAndrade won the New England title in the 100-meter dash with a finals time of 10.78 seconds this past weekend at the Division III New England Championships hosted by Williams College. Also placed third and earned All-New England honors in the 200-meter dash with a career-best outdoor time of 21.99 seconds as he helped the Bears finish ninth in the team standings at the championship meet. |
Men's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week |
Stalters won the New England title in the javelin this past weekend at the Division III New England Championships hosted by Williams College. Recorded a mark of 62.03m (203’ 6”) to easily outdistance the field as he helped the Bears finish ninth in the team standings at the championship meet. |
Men's Outdoor Rookie of the Week |
Adigwe placed seventh in the finals of the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 15.31 seconds to earn All-New England honors this past weekend at the Division III New England Championships hosted by Williams College. Also finished 17th in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 58.73 seconds. Helped the Bears place ninth in the team standings at the championship meet. |
