Men's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week |
DeAndrade captured top honors in both the 60-meter dash and the 200-meter dash at the Tufts Jumbo Invitational. Posted a finals time of 7.05 seconds in the 60, and recorded a season-best time of 22.44 seconds in the 200 as he helped the Bears capture the team title at the meet. Currently ranks sixth in all of Division III in the 200 (2nd in NE) and 28th in the 60 (5th in NE). |
Men's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week |
Johnson set a new school record and placed second in the weight throw with a toss of 17.04m (55’ 10.75’) at the Tufts Jumbo Invitational. Also placed fourth in the shot put at the meet with a toss of 13.08m (42’ 11”) as he helped the Bears capture the meet title. Currently ranks 12th in all of Division III in the weight throw and fourth in New England. |
Men's Indoor Rookie of the Week |
Morris won the 60-meter hurdles with a finals time of 8.59 seconds at the Tufts Jumbo Invitational as he helped the Bears capture the team title at the meet. Also finished 14th in the long jump with a leap of 5.58m (18’ 3.75”). Currently ranks ninth in New England in the hurdles. |
