The Plymouth State duo of Jacob Laurin and Kalle Andersson earn MASCAC Men's Ice Hockey Player and Goalie of the Week while Westfield State's Mathieu Jones is the Rookie of the Week after conference victories last week.

Laurin totaled three goals and four assists for seven points in a 3-0 week for the Panthers. Scored the eventual game-winning goal, and added an assist in a 3-0 win against Fitchburg State in a battle for the top spot in the MASCAC. Again collected the eventual game-winning goal and an assist against Westfield State in a 3-1 win. Capped the week off with a goal and two assists in a critical 7-3 road win against UMass Dartmouth. |

Andersson started all three games in a 3-0 week for the Panthers and held a 1.33 GAA and .953 save percentage with 82 saves. Andersson stopped all 26 shots faced against Fitchburg State in a battle for the top spot in the MASCAC. This was his first shutout of the season. He continued the week by stopping 26 of 27 shots in a 3-1 win against Westfield State. On Saturday, Andersson stopped 30 of 33 shots against UMass Dartmouth in a critical 7-3 road win. |
Rookie of the Week |
Jones finished the week with three goals and two assists in a 2-1 week for the Owls. Tallied a pair of goals and an assist in a 4-2 win on the road at Framingham State, added an assist on the Owls’ lone goal in a 3-1 loss at Plymouth, and added a late goal as the Owls polished off Worcester State, 3-1 on Saturday. |
