Koczela won a four-hole playoff to with the individual title at the Elms College Blazer Invitational played Sunday and Monday at the Ledges GC in South Hadley, Mass., and the Westover GC in Chicopee. Koczela birdied the par-5 ninth hole to break the deadlock. He shot the low round of the day on Sunday with a 70 and finished 70-73-143 and -1 overall, leading the Owls to the team title with a solid score of 597. |
