Bridgewater State's Pettway, Schraut, Westfield State's Resendes Named to NABC Honors Court
Bridgewater State guard Alan Pettway and forward Max Schraut along with Westfield State guard Mason Resendes have been named to the 2020-2021 National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Honors Court which recognizes men's basketball student-athletes who excelled in academics during the past season.

Over 1,200 student-athletes from more than 350 colleges and universities earned the distinction. The NABC Honors Court recognizes the talents and gifts that these student-athletes possess off the court and the hard work they exhibit in the classroom.
A native of Worcester, Massachusetts, junior Pettway currently sports a 3.47 cumulative grade point average (GPA) and is majoring in physical education. Schraut, who hails from Abington, Massachusetts, is a junior marketing major with a 3.53 GPA. The junior from Vernon, Connecticut, Resendes is studying business management with a 3.56 GPA.
In order to be named to the Honors Court, a student-athlete must be a junior or senior and a varsity player, and have a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher at the conclusion of the 2020-2021 academic year. Students must have matriculated at least one year at their current institution and the institution must be a member of an NCAA Division I, II, III, or NAIA Division I or II with a NABC member coach.
