Framingham State's Kenyon Named As ECAC Field Hockey Defensive Player Of The Week

Framingham, Mass. — Senior goalkeeper Allesha Kenyon (Westford, Mass.) was selected the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III New England Field Hockey Defensive Player of the Week for the week ending September 12th as announced by the ECAC on Wednesday morning. Earlier this week, she was selected the Little East Conference (LEC) Field Hockey Goalie of the Week.
Kenyon averaged 1.50 goals per game and 12 saves in leading the Rams to a 1-1 record this past week. She recorded double digit saves in each contest, including a season-high 14 saves in the Rams 1-0 LEC shutout victory over the University of Southern Maine on Saturday. Earlier in the week, she made 10 stops in the Rams loss at the University of New England.
