Framingham State's Hodgson, Salem State's Briana and Westfield State's Crowley Earn D3baseball.com All-New England Honors

After grabbing a spot on the MASCAC All-Conference teams, Framingham State's Kyle Hodgson, Salem State's Traverse Briana and Westfield State's Anthony Crowley earn D3baseball.com All-New England Honors as announced by the organization.
Hodgson, the 2019 MASCAC Pitcher of the Year and first team All-MASCAC selection, earns his first D3baseball.com honors after an outstanding final season for the Rams. Hodgson led the MASCAC in wins going 8-2 on the year including a perfect 5-0 during league play. Hodgson posted a 2.65 ERA and led the league in innings pitched (91.2), complete games (6) and shutouts (2). He recorded 80 strikeouts on the year including the 200th of his career and walked just nine batters on the season.
Briana led the nation with a school record .528 batting average and also set a school record with a .578 on base percentage in his first year with the Vikings. He topped the MASCAC in slugging percentage (.731) and placed in the top-five in the league in home runs (4), doubles (10), hits (57) and total bases (79). He also committed just one error in 214 total chances for an impressive .995 fielding percentage.
Crowley, the 2019 MASCAC Player of the Year for the second straight year, had a stellar season for the Owls which culminated with being named to the D3baseball.com All-New England First Team. He led the Owls with a .396 batting average, nine home runs and 36 runs batted in. He drew 36 walks as opponents worked around the Owls' big bat, posting a .532 on base percentage. Crowley has set school records for career home runs and RBI. He earned All-Conference honors for the third straight year.
The 2019 season marks the eighth year that D3baseball.com has named All-Region teams, with more than 800 players nominated. Players were nominated for these awards by the Sports Information Directors at the various schools. The ballot was then made available to SIDs, who voted for a predetermined number of players in their region, as well as D3baseball.com staff and contributors.
