The Westfield State trio of Aaron Clancy, John Gegetskas and Alex Honey take home the MASCAC Baseball Player, Pitcher and Rookie of the Week honors after winning the conference tournament title. The awards are brought to you by GEICO.

Aaron Clancy Clancy batted. 389 (7-18) with a double, three runs scored, five RBI and two walks on his way to earning Tournament MVP honors as the Owls repeated as MASCAC Champions. Went 7-for-10 with three runs scored and four RBI in the final three games of the tourney, including a pair of hits in the title game. Hit a double and scored the first run and drove one in later in the championship. Went 2-for-4 with two runs scored and a RBI in the 12-0 semifinal win over Framingham State. Went 3-for-6 with two RBI in the 13-10 setback to Fitchburg State in the first title game. |

John Gegetskas Gegetskas tossed a no-hitter in the Owls’ 12-0 semifinal win over Framigham State, striking out seven with no walks. Gegetskas faced one more than the minimum, with one runner reaching via an error, which he erased with a double play ball to the next hitter. |
Rookie of the Week |

Alex Honey Honey threw five strong innings, allowing just four hits and one run, in the Owls’ MASCAC title game 5-3 victory over Fitchburg State. |
