To be eligible for the award, student-athletes needed to achieve a grade point average of at least 3.6 in each semester, regardless of whether the team competed this season due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
In total, 721 Division II and Division III men's ice hockey student-athletes received the honor nationwide.
