NEWPORT, R.I. - Junior forward Briana Neary posted 18 points and 12 rebounds to lead the Salve Regina University women's basketball team to a 69-58 victory over visiting Salem State University in non-conference action Thursday evening.

NOTEWORTHY:
- Morgan Shuey had a game-high six assists while doing 7-8 from the free throw line and totaling 13 points.
- Salve Regina outscored Salem State 14-2 off the bench, led by Sofia Neary who logged eight points with five rebounds, two steals, two blocks, and an assist.
- The Vikings led 6-4 in the first but never led again the rest of the game.
- Salve Regina maintained a lead throughout the game and posted a game-high 21 points in the fourth quarter to close out the win.
