COACH THOUGHTS:

"It's been great to see some offense generated today," said head coach Jennifer Foster. "It came a little bit slower to us, but we see the pieces of the game coming together. We know what we need to work on. It's good to see the defense get a little more into it today and we're putting the lines together."

ATHLETE THOUGHTS:

"We are working as a unit so far and the team is really positive too which is showing on the field," said junior Maggie Hansen. "Our teamwork is contributing to all of our shutouts and goals and everybody is just really in it to win it this year. We have a really strong defensive unit looking to transfer the ball a lot. We can all really trust the people in the back. We can send it up to those midfielders and attackers and they're going to shoot it right away."

ON THE HORIZON:

For the first away contest of the season Salve Regina will travel to Auburndale, Mass., to face the Lasers of Lasell University.
