Men’s Ice Hockey Shutout by Falcons

FITCHBURG, MA: Rivier men's ice hockey lost to Fitchburg State University this evening on the road.   

THE BASICS:

HOW IT HAPPENED:

- Nine seconds into the first frame, Rece Bergeman of the Falcons scored with assists credited to Michael Macchioni and Gene Bouthiette.

- Fitchburg St. produced three goals in the second period. Toivo Kramer recorded a goal with assists from Cole Archambeault and Oliver Cookson. Bergeman tallied his second goal of the game with passes from Bouthiette and Hunter Fortin. Three minutes later, Fortin went on to score with assists from Nolan Sargent and Trenton Skaggs.

- The fifth and final goal was earned by Falcons' Archambeault and the assist was credited to Kramer in the third period.
