BRIDGEWATER,
Mass. -- Seniors Ellie Einhorn (Winter
Park, Fla.) and Tiffany Pacheco (Rehoboth,
Mass.) tallied a goal apiece for the visiting Brandeis

victory over host Bridgewater State University this afternoon at
Swenson Field in Bridgewater.
Einhorn opened the scoring for Brandeis (3-1-1)
in the 34th minute as she converted a breakaway opportunity off a
nice feed from junior midfielder Mimi
Theodore (Walpole, Mass.). Pacheco gave the Judges a

scored from 25-yards out off a pass from freshman midfielder
Mary Shimko (Bay Village, Ohio).
Bridgewater (1-2) cut the deficit in half in the
83rd minute as junior forward Jordan
McDermott (East Bridgewater, Mass.) notched her first
goal of the season. Sophomore defender Allison
Dexter (Plymouth, Mass.) assisted on the goal as she
found McDermott inside the 18 with a nice through ball and
McDermott beat the Brandeis keeper with a low shot inside
the left post.
Sophomore goaltender Francine
Kofinas (Dix Hills, N.Y.) made seven saves between the
pipes for the Judges to record her third win of the season.
Senior netminder Kayla
Grover (Haverhill, Mass.) made 13 saves for the Bears
while sophomore Kristen
Rowe (Burlington, Mass.) played the final 11 minutes
and turned aside one shot.
