Worcester, MA - The Lancers finish their four-road game stretch with a 2-0 win over Curry College Wednesday night in Milton, their second shutout victory of the season.

Junior midfielder Manny Ramirez (Waltham, MA) opened the scoring in the 18th minute with his 4th goal of the season, assisted by Junior forward Luke-Mark Anu (Salem, MA). Ramirez found Anu again in the 50th minute, assisting him for his first goal of the season, putting the Lancers up 2-0. 

Ramirez led the Lancers with three shots, while Curry's Adam Pforr shot two. Worcester State recorded a total of 11 shots (4 on goal) while Curry recorded a total of 6 shots (2 on goal). 

Goalkeepers Andy Ramirez (Waltham, MA) & Dylan Ruberti (Westborough, MA) combined for a total of two saves on two shots on goal, while Curry keeper Brendan Cunningham saved two shots on four shots on goal. 

Worcester State improves to 5-2-2 on the season, while Curry drops to 4-3-1. 

The Lancers return home this Saturday, where they will face the Westfield State Owls in MASCAC action.
