How it Happened:
The night's matchup started out with a career milestone for Worcester State's Madison Ferrera (Somerset, MA). Despite their stout defense and ability to get into the Gulls zone, Endicott was able to put the ball in the goal twice in well fought scrums in the circle. Leaving the first quarter with a 2-0 lead on the Lancers.
Endicott started the second quarter hot, opening up with three quick goals. Giving Endicott a comfortable 5-0 lead. The Lancers did have success getting the ball into their attacking zone and ripping off two good shots off of two corners. Despite Worcester State's strong offensive efforts, The Gulls were able to retain the 5-0 lead going into the half.
The second half started with quick scores by Endicott giving them a 8-0 lead. Despite the lopsided score the Gulls and the Lancers continued to go back and forth in each other's zones, Worcester looking to gain momentum and eat away into the lead, and Endicott attempting to keep the lead.
