Women's Soccer Downed by Bison

DUDLEY, MA: Fitchburg State women's soccer fell to Nichols College this evening in non-conference action.

THE BASICS:

- Date: 10/16/23

- Score: Nichols 4, Fitchburg 0

- Records: Nichols (3-10-2), Fitchburg (2-9-3)

HOW IT HAPPENED:

-  The Bison held the Falcons scoreless while netting four goals. The first two came in the first half. Madeleine Soudant scored her first goal of the season just 2:49 into the contest. Grace Killman increased the Bison lead to two on her second goal of the season. Emma Norton and Rajchel Smardon were credited with the assists.

- Falyn Hunt got the scoring going in the second half with her second goal of the season in the 71st minute. Nichols' fourth and final goal came just one minute later off the foot of Alana Snow for her fourth goal of the year.

- Adie Hughes got the win after saving all eight shots that she faced. Skyla Vaudo (Burlington, MA) got the loss after allowing two goals with no saves. Madison Dawkins (Haverhill, MA) came in after her, saving five shots with two goals allowed.
