How It Happened

Fitchburg State wasted no time, grabbing an early 1-0 edge just 3;21 into the contest as junior Kendra Peretzman (Randolph, MA) received a feed from sophomore Adrianna Westcott (Sayreville, NJ) and deposited a shot into the right side of net for her first tally on the season.

Following the intermission, Wentworth knotted the score at 1-1 in the 76th minute when freshman Lily Carlson (New Braintree, MA) found the back of the net for her second goal of the year off an assist from junior Jenny Montville (Plainville, MA).

The Leopards nearly secured the victory at the 83:47 mark with freshman Brianna Reid (Bridgewater, MA) put a shot on target, but newcomer Cassandra Pendleton (Ware, MA) made a stellar save on the two on one attempt, resulting in the 1-1 draw.
