How it Happend:

Worcester would find the goal first to start the game as junior Molly Witkowski (Greenville, NY) would send it a quick dish from senior Abbie Wing (Griswold, CT). The Rams would claim their own goals less than a minute later on two quick drops before junior Shannon Donahue (Dennis, MA) would settle the score back at 2 all. The back and forth battle would continue with the Rams reclaiming the lead before Worcester popped in two goals, one from sophomore Kerry Brown (Billerica, MA) from Witkowski with another from sophomore Madigan Kelley (Bourne, MA) off a dish from Donahue for a 4-3 lead. Before the close of the first Framingham would tie the game back up at 4-4.

Worcester would kick off the second with the first goal again as Junior McKayla Fisher (Peabody, MA) would take a slot pass from Kelley to claim the lead. Witkowski would send in one more before the close of the half for a 9-7 score at the half.

The third would be a far slower offensive game taking nearly seven minutes before Framingham would open the second half goal scoring. Worcester would respond with just under four minutes left in the quarter as Fisher would break the double digits on the scoreboard. The Rams would grab goal nine but Worcester answered back with a Wing goal to keep the two goal differential.

Worcester would kick start the fourth with two quick goals, another Wing and Witkowski back to back scoring burst. Witkowski would extend the cushion less than a note later to settle the score at 14-9. Senior Ashley Hurley (Feeding Hills, MA) would join the scoring fest after a hand in a number of previous goals before the Rams managed to find the double digits in the scoreboard. Framingham would begin their bid to get back into the game but Worcester would keep holding them off as Donahue would score number 16 with Vincent recording 17 which would hold until the final buzzer as the Lancers claimed the 17-11 win and grabbed the top spot in the conference standings.
