Newton, MA - The Lasell Lasers fell to the Framingham State Rams by a final score of 10-5 on Wednesday night. The result moves both teams to 13-9 on the season.

The Rams got out to a 3-0 lead in the first on a trio of RBI singles. The Lasers got one run back in the bottom half of the inning on a wild pitch. The Rams then extended their lead with four runs in the third, making it 7-1. Two more runs came in to score in the fourth giving Framingham the 9-1 lead. But a Ross Audet RBI single, and CJ Mills RBI groundout in the fourth gave the Lasers some life. They then added two more runs in the sixth on a pair of RBI singles from CJ Mills and Tim Callahan. But there were no more runs for the Lasers, and the Rams added another in the ninth to take the 10-5 win.

The Lasers collected 11 hits on the night, with three coming from Tim Callahan. Matthew Paharik, Ross Audet, and CJ Mills each had two. Mills also had two RBI. The Lasers used six pitchers, with none going longer than two innings. Brendan Zaleski opened for the Lasers and was handed the loss. He allowed five hits and three earned runs in one inning of work. Darak Lallo pitched the next inning plus, allowing two hits and four runs, two of which were earned. He was relieved by Tim Coakley who struck out two in two innings and allowed two unearned runs.
