1st Half How It Happened

The first half was an evenly matched game for both the Blazers and the Trailblazers. MCLA led with four more shots than Elms, making it 7-3 within the first half. Elms goalkeeper, Collin Liedke (Newington, CT) had four saves in the first half. 2nd Half How It Happened

The Blazers started the half with a shot by Noah Martinson (Monson, MA) that carried high over the goal. Due to a couple of unlucky touches, MCLA forward Marcos Lopez(Albany, NY) received a pass by Call, where he was able to carry past the Blazers' defensive line and sneak the ball past Liedke in the 73rd minute. Elms' forward Noah Jaques had an opportunity to score off of his shot that was rebounded off of goalkeeper Sam Edge (Williamstown, MA) but unfortunately went high.

Blazers goalkeeper Liedke split game time with sophomore Ethan Sgarlata (Ellington, CT) who came in at the 76th minute to finish out the game. The Trailblazers take the win, ending 1-0 to the Blazers.
