Women’s Basketball Gets Their First Win In A Cat Fight Against The Trailblazers
PAXTON, MA: On Thursday evening, the Anna Maria College women's basketball team Hosted the MCLA Trailblazers in the Fuller Gymnasium. The AMCATS won 62-51

HIGHLIGHTS
- The AMCATS led the first quarter with Marinique Reddin, Megan Burdett and Chloe Giordano taking charge with 4 points a piece, Giving Anna Maria the lead going into the second quarter.
- The AMCATS kept it close in the second trailing by just one point leading into halftime.
- After the half the AMCATS put up 19 points but still found themselves in a cat fight as the Trailblazers only trailed by one. Gina Parmenter led the team in the third quarter with 6 points.
- Going into the final quarter the AMCATS led 45-44 however the Trailblazers couldn't hold on as the AMCATS pulled away putting up 17 points over MCLA's 7.
- Reddin led the AMCATS with 20 points on the night. Followed by Burdett with 9 points and Giordano, Parmenter and Arianna Saladin collecting 8 points a piece.
