FRAMINGHAM, MA- Senior midfielder Tia Pratt (Oxford Hills, ME) scored one goal and assisted on both additional Lasell tallies as the Lasers' field hockey team ended their 2010 campaign with a 3-1 win over Framingham State University. 

The contest began slowly with the majority of the first 25 minutes centered around the midfield area.  Lasell found their offensive rhythm late in the half as they came up with many quality scoring opportunities.  With just over ten minutes left in the half, Pratt carried the ball into the circle and dropped the pass off to junior Hannah Cebry (Burlington, CT) who knocked the ball into the open cage. The 1-0 advantage would carry into the halftime break.

Framingham's offense challenged Lasell midway through the second period when they were awarded a penalty corner which produced a scramble in front of the Lasers' net. Multiple shots were fired at Lasell's goalie Christine Thornton (Canton, MA) who turned aside each chance, picking up three saves to preserve the lead. 

As a result of the Flurry, the Rams offense kept the ball in the circle and were awarded a penalty stroke, at 48:41.  Senior Andrea DiTerlizzi (Shrewsbury, MA) evened the score when her stroke found the back of the net.

After 12 minutes of scoreless activity, the Lasers produced back-to-back tallies in a minute span to seal the victory. With 3:39 remaining, Pratt once again hit Cebry with a cross in the circle and Cebry finished for her second goal.  With 2:30 left to play, Pratt dribbled through the Rams' defense and scored unassisted to reach the final 3-1 margin.

Thornton finished the game with six saves for the Lasers, while Allesha Kenyon finished with eight in a losing effort for the Rams.  The Lasers held a slight 16-12 advantage in shots for the game and also held a 9-6 advantage in corners.

 The Lasers finish their season with an 8-10 record, while the Rams fall to 5-11 on the year with one game remaining.
