Men’s Basketball Opens Season with 96-94 Victory over VT State-Johnson

Randolph Center, VT. - The Framingham State University men's basketball team opened the 2024-25 season with a 96-94 victory over Vermont State Johnson this evening at the Vermont State University Basketball Tournament.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS 

  • The Rams were paced by 29 points from Kyle Philistin. Philistin connected on 12-of-21 from the floor and added three rebounds, an assist and a steal. 

  • Joshua Saint Jean chipped in with 22 points off the bench. Saint Jean connected on 6-of-11 from the floor and 10-of-11 from the line and grabbed seven boards. 

  • Makyle Hayes added 13 points, three rebounds and four assists with a pair of steals, while Korbin Gann finished the night with nine points and four rebounds.

  • The Rams are back in action tomorrow at VT-Randolph when they will face either VT State – Lyndon or VT State-Randolph.
