Trailblazers stopped by Ephs 84-54

Williamstown, MA- The MCLA Trailblazers fell to county rival Williams College 84-54 this afternoon in Williamstown.  With the loss, MCLA is now 3-2.  Jen Wehner had a double double, collecting 11 points and 10 boards in the setback.  Williams improved to 4-0 on the season.

Williams jumped out to a quick 7-0 lead in the opening minutes and never looked back.  MCLA's Alie Dobrovolc knocked down a jumper to stop the bleeding and make the score 11-4, but the hosts responded with a quick 8-3 run to make it 19-7.  Williams would outscore MCLA 31-17 the rest of the half for a commanding 48-24 lead.

The second half started similarly to the first with the Ephs putting any doubts to rest.  They jumped out to a 69-33 lead with 12:30 left and never looked back.

Williams placed four player in double figures while 13 players toted in the scoring column.

Aside from Wehner's effort, Dobrovolc would add a team high 14 points, while Courtney Terzi and Hilary Perks would finish with 8 apiece.

MCLA is off all week until Saturday when they travel to Salve Regina.
