
Men’s Basketball Falls to Salem State on Senior Night
QUINCY, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene College men's basketball team dropped an 83-66 decision to Salem State in the final non-conference game of the season Wednesday evening at the Lahue Athletic Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Salem State led by as many as 10 points in the first half and boasted a 44-38 advantage at the break.
- The Vikings outscored the Lions 39-18 in the second stanza to collect an 83-66 win.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Fahad Tarjali (Amman, Jordan) notched his first double-double of the year, scoring a career-high 17 points while hauling in a season-best 11 rebounds.
- Joey Hanlon (Pembroke, Mass.) poured in a career-high 16 points off the bench.
- Darrell Hardge (Hialeah, Fla.) finished with eight points, eight assists, five boards, and four steals.
- Khabri Davis (Peoria, Ariz.) chipped in with eight points off the bench.
- Eastern Nazarene posted a field-goal percentage of 32.9% while being limited to 4-of-28 from behind the arc.
- Salem State shot 49.2% from the floor and 54.5% from three-point range on the night.
- Jaden Castillo netted a game-high 33 points to lead the visitors. Michael Makiej tallied his 1,000th-career point for the Vikings as he added 23 points and 11 rebounds.

Prior to the contest, the Eastern Nazarene men's basketball program honored its seniors: Xavier Depina (Whitman, Mass.) and Fahad Tarjali (Amman, Jordan).
