Women's Basketball Shoots Past Husson 85-54

Waltham, Mass. - The Framingham State University women's basketball team secured their first victory of the season this afternoon defeating Husson University 85-54 at the Brandeis Invitational.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS 

  • The Rams were led by 17 points off the bench from Brodie Gannon. Gannon connected on 6-of-7 from the floor including 5-of-6 from behind the arc. 

  • Michelle Moreno chipped in with 11 points as she hit 4-of-6 from the floor and added 10 rebounds, three assists and a steal. 

  • Jacqueline Schels scored 11 points off the bench for the Rams connecting on 5-of-9 from the floor and added six rebounds and two assists with a steal. 

  • The Rams shot 43% from the floor in the game, while holding Husson to just 30% shooting from the field.
