THE BASICS
SCORE: Suffolk 4 | Framingham State 0
RECORDS: Suffolk (2-2-1) | Framingham State (0-2-2)

HOW IT HAPPPENED
Dominic Rinaldi put the Boston Rams on the board at the 18:22 mark. The blue-and-gold's defense had the ball in Suffolk's end and sent it to a waiting Erik Van Even next to the 50-yard line. A one-touch, go-ahead pass from Van Even found a diving Rinaldi that had a one-on-one with Framingham State's keeper Tyler Holden. Rinaldi shot high left just out of the reach of Holden to put the visiting Rams on the board.

The margin doubled just about 13 minutes later. Ford Lee took a corner, but nothing was set up so Diego Pierantozzicleared it out back to Lee. This time he lofted a pass towards the center of the net where Luke Blawn was to head it in to make it 2-0, an advantage that remained at the intermission.

Suffolk's scoring continued in the second stanza.

Framingham attempted to clear the ball from its zone, but the blue-and-gold had other things in mind as Miguel Varela intercepted the rock, slid a pass to Francisco Valck for an easy one-timer that made it 3-0 Suffolk at the 61:12 mark.

Less than 10 minutes later, Carter Van Buskirk converted a got in to the scoring when he struck on a free kick.

That's where the deficit stood as the horn sounded as Holden denied the visiting Rams' final attempt on target and Nathan Harlow was not tested the rest of the way.
