Baseball Breezes by Mass. Maritime, 10-3
BUZZARDS BAY, N.H.- The Eastern Nazarene College baseball team pounded out a season-high 20 hits en route to posting its 14th consecutive victory, a 10-3 win at the Massachusetts Maritime Academy Tuesday.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Eastern Nazarene jumped out to a quick 1-0 lead with a run in the top of the first inning. Francis Ferguson (Jefferson, Mass.) laced a single to left-centerfield to drive in Elvis Rojas (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic).
- The visitors added a pair of runs in the third to extend their advantage to 3-0. Jaime Roldan (Boston, Mass.) roped a double to centerfield to plate Francis Ferguson from third base. Jaime Roldan (Boston, Mass.) crossed the dish on an RBI groundout by Eduardo Labour (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic).
- Mass. Maritime manufactured a run in the bottom of the third to cut the deficit to 3-1.
- The Lions tallied four runs in the fourth to widen the gap to 7-1. Tyler Bean (Wellington, Fla.) raked a single to left-centerfield to knock in Elvis Rojas (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic). Francis Ferguson slashed a triple to left-centerfield to drive in Tyler Bean (Wellington, Fla.). Francis Ferguson (Jefferson, Mass.) scampered home on an RBI groundout by Shane McNamara (Londonderry, N.H.). Eduardo Labour (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic) landed a two-out base knock to score Anderson Jimenez (Lowell, Mass.) from second base.
- The Buccaneers picked up two runs in the home half of the fourth inning to narrow the margin to 7-3.
- Eastern Nazarene tacked on two runs in the top of the sixth to stretch its lead to 9-3. Eduardo Labour (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic) collected his third RBI of the game with a single down the left field line to knock in Jaime Roldan (Boston, Mass.). Ethaniel Almendarez (Lynn, Mass.) followed with an infield hit to plate Anderson Jimenez (Lowell, Mass.).
- The guests chalked up one run in the ninth to push their advantage to 10-3. Francis Ferguson (Jefferson, Mass.) notched his third RBI of the day with a two-out base hit to score Elvis Rojas (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic).
