Fifth Ranked Endicott Defeats Baseball

Beverly, Mass. - The Framingham State University baseball team was defeated 24-1 by Endicott College, who was ranked fifth in the most recent D3baseball.com poll, this afternoon in non-conference action at North Field.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS 

  • The Rams received three hits from Massimo Mondi. Mondi went 3-for-4 at the dish and drove in the Rams only run of the game with a single to center in the third inning. 

  • Scott Paquette went 1-for-3 in the game an scored the Rams lone run in the game. 

  • Jason Strickland took the loss on the mound for the Rams going two innings and allowing five runs, four earned, on four hits with three walks. 

  • John Connolly warned the victory on the mound for the Gulls going five innings, allowing one earned run on six hits with nine strikeouts.
