The Rams jumped out to an early lead when Johnny Baker connected 21 seconds into the game after a setup from Ashton Collazo.

Stonehill answered five minutes later when Frank Ireland gto the hosts on the board.

The Skyhawks took the lead near the end of the first on a Frank Ireland power play goal and built a 3-1 lead early in the second on a Brendan Nehmer tally.

Cameron Linsday cut the Rams deficit to one late in the second before a three goal third period for Stonehill reached the final margin.

John Day made 25 saves in the win for Stonehill and Liam Kilgallen made 29 saves for the Rams.
