Paxton, Mass.– The Framingham State women's soccer team was defeated by Anna Maria in a weather shortened game Tuesday night in Paxton 

THE BASICS: 

- Score: Anna Maria 3, Framingham State 0 (71 minutes) 

- Records: Framingham State (0-5), Anna Maria (3-2) 

- Location:  Caparso Field – Paxton, Mass.  

HOW IT HAPPENED: 

  • The AMCATS broke the scoreless tie in the 33rd minute on a Valentina Villa goal.  

  • Right after the half the hosts extended their lead to 2-0 when Riley Michaud converted her attempt on net. Abigial Smith scored in the 61st minute to reach the final margin.  

  • Jetta Oskirko made seven saves in net for the Rams.  

  • Alice Yokabaskas made two saves in the 71 minutes of work for the hosts.  

  • The AMCATS held an advantage in shots 17-to-3, while the Rams led in corner kick opportunities 4-to-2.
