Volleyball Falls to Regis In Straight Sets

Framingham, Mass. - The Framingham State University volleyball team was defeated 3-0 by Regis College this evening in non-conference action at Logan Gymnasium.

-Scores:  Regis 3, Framingham State 0 (25-10, 25-9, 26-24)

INSIDE THE NUMBERS 

  • The Pride took the first two sets 25-10 and 25-9 before holding off the Rams 26-24 in the final set to secure the non-conference victory. 

  • The Pride were led in the match by 11 kills and two aces from Rita Dow, while Ahnasia Mckinney chipped in with 10 kills, 21 set assits and six digs. 

  • Kate Montigny finished the match with nine kills, two digs and three blocks, while Kaitlyn Miller finished with 13 set assists and 12 defensive digs. 

  • The Rams were led in the match by eight kills from Hailey Sanders, while Anna Szymanski finished with five and eight digs. 

  • Stella Bailey chipped in with 10 set assists and two digs, while Isabel Henwood added six assists and seven digs.  

UP NEXT: 

The Rams are back in action Saturday when they travel to Eastern Connecticut for a tri-match beginning at 11 a.m., while the Pride travel to Lasell for a tri-match on Saturday also at 11 a.m.
